I am very excited about my new line of custom designs that I have been working on.
I call these designs my wonderful "Treasures" and each has a equally wonderful story behind them.
...you know how you travel and find wonderful things along the way, shells, rocks, charms and just little things that you "just have to have"...well, me too!
My collection grows all the time and I love all of these wonderful little memories...little Treasures. Then I get home and they sit in a box or a drawer...I come across them every now and then and still love them.
What about adding them together and making jewelry?

I love the piece above!!! We made such a strong piece from a few smaller family pieces.
The horse head was Dad's old tie tack in 14k yellow gold.
The oval, textured yellow gold links from one of Mom's old bracelets.
The horse shoe is hand forged with 14k yellow gold nails & details and was sized just right to frame the tie tack.
We added bold textured silver links and we found an amazing toggle in silver open work and dots of gold to accent the gold in the balance of the necklace.

I really Love the story behind this piece!!!
The customer and his wife where on a hike and he looked down and there was this amazing rock...shaped just like a heart. He gave the rock to her and said, "You now have a piece of my heart to hold on to forever"...too romantic for words. He snuck the stone out of the house and just had to have it made into a necklace for her for Valentines Day.
I found this wonderful 14k yellow gold scroll work piece that fit the back of the rock and then added nice heavy prongs with balled ends to hold the rock in place.
Added double gold chains to each side and it was perfect.
I love this business...all these romantic moments just give me goose bumps!!!

I was so touch by these pieces
and my customer had tears in her eyes when I presented them to her.
The piece on the left started with her father's white gold, wedding band. He had passed away and
she wanted to find away to hold it close to her and to also have it safer than in her pocket and not just swinging on a chain.
We worked together to make a piece to celebrate his life.
The center yellow gold disk is engraved with her father's monogram
and the back is engraved with his birth & death dates and it swivels within the band.
I saw my customer several months later and she was still in love with the piece and wore it everyday.
She told me, "As I wear it, I play with it all the time and have a wonderful piece to remember my father by."

...this time as a gift for her sister.
Using her mother's first engagement ring diamond (also father's birthstone) and adding an emerald (mother's birthstone)...we interlocked 2 wedding bands and engraved the inside of each bands with birth dates for each parent.
What a wonderful rememberance piece for their parents life together.
